We may be in full swing of autumn/winter 24, but you know how the world of fashion thinks streets ahead in terms of up-and-coming trends. We already know some of the hottest clothing trends for next season, but what about jewellery? We know all too well how important jewellery is to an outfit, bringing it all together and giving it your own unique twist. But how can you style your jewellery next season?

Some styles are timeless, but others are more trend-led, whatever style you go for, make sure you look on-point as soon as you see the new year in! And don’t worry – there is something for everyone!

Boho is here to stay!

One of the major trends over the last two seasons has been boho chic. Its resurgence from the early 2000s (remember Sienna Miller’s style?) has been a hit time and time again and for spring/summer 2025, it’s not budging from its spot. We’re thinking oversized beads, long pendant necklaces and anything to do with the Earth and the sky, with bird charms for example.

Bold bangles

We loved an oversized bangle in the 2000s and they’re making their comeback next season. They look chic hanging off your wrist, giving a laid-back and casual vibe, all while completing your looks. Remember to keep it simple – bangles tend to be chunky, so don’t overdo it, or you may have a sore wrist at the end of the day!

Eye-catching necklaces

Statement necklaces create sculpture and are the centrepiece of any outfit. That’s why we love Vivienne Westwood’s best designer jewellery. The necklaces, especially the pearl chokers, are structured and will be the focal point of any look. This emphasis will draw attention and create a dramatic look, even when paired with a stripped back outfit.

Layering chain necklaces

For the last few years, we have all loved layering chain necklaces, and the great news is, that isn’t going to change any time soon! Finer jewellery looks so elegant and delicate against the skin and layering necklaces with different lengths will add an extra something to your wardrobe. If you have a plunging V-neck knit – layer your necklaces. If you are wearing a shirt – layer the necklaces under the collar. There are so many outfits that this trend can work for!

Art Deco-style earrings

Art Deco-style earrings are sculptured and statement. They are oversized, with plenty of punch. These are a must-have for days you want to keep your outfit simple and sophisticated – the jewellery will do all the talking here! Think bold shapes, lines and textures for an artistic approach to your jewellery collection.

Bag charms

Yes, your bag deserves some jewellery too! Bag charms and bag chains are also making waves on the jewellery scene, being seen as a form of self-expression. They’re a great way to add personality to your handbag. You can collect them and swap them between your bags according to your outfit.

As we welcome autumn/winter with open arms, somehow, the fashion industry always looks seasons ahead – so there’s no excuse to lag behind! You can be a trendsetter and even start adopting these trends a season early – that way, your friends will be asking you for style advice in no time! By being ahead, it will allow you to take a look at your own jewellery collection and concoct outfits around fashion and jewellery trends. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
